With a title like that ↑ you know this has to be an intelligent, thoughtful entry.

Well I just took a glance at my recently-played list of music over there and I noticed there’s a plethora of Snoop Dogg. I’ve recently been called on my music tastes, and my preference for rap over any other genre lately. For instance, rap probably fills up 80% of my iPod (and the playlist that is reflected to the right) right now. Why? It’s the weather, man. It’s nice as hell out and it’s time to put down the windows and pump up the volume and let it rip with some hizzot bizzeats.

This doesn’t mean that rap is the only music I like, or even that it’s becoming my favorite. It’s just that pumping Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin or Dave Matthews Band all loud doesn’t have the same effect. Other music that I’m liking right now that isn’t rap:

So there, that’s kind of what I’m listening to right now too. But anything that i can turn up loud and have it still sound good is my preference for the season.
