Game 6 Is Scary
Last year somewhere around this time I posted about how scary game sevens are in the NBA for your team, the team you’re pulling for.
This year we have to pull that up to a Game 6.
Tonight the Detroit Pistons, who had both a winning and losing Game 7 in last year’s NBA Playoffs, fight to stay alive deep in the heart of enemy territory: Miami, FL.
Miami leads the series 3-2. Detroit has to win tonight, IN Miami, to take the series back home for a deciding Game 7. If that happens, I’ll be scared again.
But last year’s Game 7 was on Miami’s floor. This time, Game 6 is there, and Miami only has to hold off Detroit for 48 minutes to take their place in the NBA Finals.
Can Detroit do it? Can they hold of the dreaded Heat? Did they build enough confidence with a Game 5 win in Detroit?
I certainly hope so. If anyone can do it, it’s these guys. I’ll be watching. Will you? Hmmm?
