Much to Shannon’s horror, I’ve signed up for Fantasy NBA basketball.

I’ve never done fantasy anything before, so this is all pretty new to me. But I like the NBA a lot and know a lot of the players so I figured I’d give myself something else to pay attention to other than just the Pistons.

It’s kind of funny, because you create rankings on who you want to draft first when it comes to be your turn (I’m just in some random public league.) So I picked a few of my favorite guys, some Pistons, and players like Tim Duncan which are obvious picks. Well, I ended up with a roster of 62% 69% current or former Detroit Pistons players! Here’s my breakdown:

• Amir Johnson
• Rasheed Wallace
• Jason Maxiell
• Antonio McDyess
• Grant Hill
• Mehmet Okur
• Darko Milicic
• Edit 10/22: Jerry Stackhouse

And the rest:

• Stephen Jackson
• Tony Parker
• Hedo Turkoglu Bruce Bowen
• Jameer Nelson
• J.R. Smith

Which, of course, due to the nature of fantasy play, that roster may change. But i figure i hardly have time to watch any games, let alone change my roster evey night. So I’m thinking it will stay the same for a while.
