Live-blogging the storm

There’s a huge storm coming through our area right now, so I thought I would live-blog it! Well, I probably won’t do much unless things get bad, but I wanted to test this(posting from my phone) out anyways.

There’s more coming in the next 3-4 hours, so if I never post again, I probably died from lightning or being thrown into Lake Michigan by a tornado.

You better post again soon to let people know you’re alive.

Dude, I’m totally with you on the reaction to storms. I’m glued to my laptop watching the loop from weather.com, while watching the weather channel, looking outside for the funnel clouds that surely are near, and wondering if our guest bathroom truly is the best location when the siren blares.

    We’re odd creatures.

@Derick: Yeah, we’re on the 3rd floor of our apartment, and I have no idea where we would go to find shelter. Obviously the 1st floor, but where, outside someone’s door? Should we bang on it and demand they let us in to cower in fear of nature’s wrath?

I think that’s exactly what you do. And if they refuse, start reciting The Lord’s Prayer on cue. They either feel immense guilt and let you in or think you’re a freak trying to sell them on something and close the door. If it’s the latter…at least you’ve got a head start on divine intervention.
