Another semester is finished, and I’m one step closer to completing my bachelors degree. Finally. In 4 months time I will have completed my goal and will be taking the steps toward the next stage of my life. And over the next 4 months I’ll be deciding just what that will be. Get a job? Hmm, might be kind of difficult given the current state of the Union. Go to graduate school? This is a definite maybe. Stay where I am now? Move away? I hope the answers come easily, though I know they won’t.
In the meantime, I have a small vacation to get some things in order. I’ll be heading back to the hometown for a few days on Sunday to work and catch up there. I’ll have some volleyball practices thrown in here and there (check out the hot new embroidered warmups.) Maybe even a Christmas party or two? Oh yeah, and Christmas itself. I’ll be spending three days up north on Lake Michigan at my uncle’s house. They live in a small town that is pretty much the perfect place to spend Christmas if you’re into the holiday scene.
And the snow! I’m loving the snow. It’s everywhere, and it’s awesome. Each time it snows, I hope it will just keep going for days and days. I get so happy when I see winter weather advisories come through. I don’t like when people get hurt in them or are forced to change their plans because of a winter storm, but if it does just enough to be considered extreme, I’m in heaven. I’m planning a sledding trip with friends soon that I am very excited about. And I’m looking into taking some snowboarding lessons, I think that will be fun.
Overall things are going great and I’m looking forward to spending time with family and friends over the next few weeks. And polishing off my Christmas movie library. And drinking egg nog. And listening to Christmas music with a little Kanye mixed in.
And not doing homework for 3 weeks. Ohhh, that will be nice.
I’m glad you like the snow. . .I like the way it looks, but that’s about it. It’s too cold, wet, and slippery =)
Now it’s all gone and I’m sad :(
