Make sure you check out the 2009 NBA Playoffs Bracket as it is constantly being updated with all of the latest playoff games.
It will also tell you what games are coming up, on what channel, on what day, at what time! Whew!
As always, comments are welcome and encouraged!
Great bracket. Better than ESPN’s! Kudos!
Also, Lakers and Rockets are scheduled for Monday in LA at 10:30 ET (7:30 PT) on TNT.
Exactly what I was looking for. Concise and visual with detail underneath if you want it. Great Job!
Hey, awesome frikkin bracket! Great job, I love it.
Thanks for the work you put into this Brad. This makes it so easy to keep track of everyting and visualize it.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I appreciate it!
OMGosh, Brad–thanks so much. I am a playoffs newbie and it took me an hour to find a site I could understand! Sheesh! Just really appreciate it and I bookmarked it to check back. I just finished researching and writing a 62 page paper for grad school, but can’t follow all of the NBA news. I needed someone to break it down to the basics. Thanks again!!
@Anne: Glad you could find it useful, Anne! Thanks for stopping by.
At last, someone who thinks like I do!
All the info you need or want, concise, well-laid out, all on one page. The mouse over features are perfect. Even includes the game times and broadcast channels. Great job!!!
Will you do this for football and baseball, too?
@Ken: Yes we are planning on making some improvements and also expanding out to MLB and the NFL soon! Thank you!
Wow this is a great website, within about 5 minutes the Bracket was updated after Boston beat Chicago in Game 7
@Max: I had it ready to go as the game was winding down. I just had to wait to input the final score. Hit upload about 5 seconds after the game ended!
A great site, thanks. The second round looks right on screen, but prints with Rockets and Mavs logos out of place. (shifted down)
@Chris: Thanks for the heads up on that. It’s fixed.
I viewed your bracket many times last season and plan on doing the same this time around. I like it because it’s nice and simple, and allows me to see the status of the playoffs because I don’t have that much time or patience to watch every single game hahaha. Thanks!
Just wanted to let you know that I love your bracket and how quick you update it. Iview it through my blackberrys opera mini browser.
good job
I love your bracket man, its the best online in my opinion. Magic literally just won against the Celtics and I look up here and you already got it down. Keep up the great work.
nice bracket. hope to see the lakers make it to the middle.
Nice bracket. Though you could improve this by showing more information on the mouse over.
So if I mouseover the game icon, I only see the scores now, but what would be even more relevant is the top scorers or starting lineup scores for both teams, total score reached in the number of quarters or OT’s, etc.
Awesome work though…..
Thanks man. None of the people that i hang out with know the times and what channels. I like your bracket. You should try college hoops, that would be even better.
I agree with everyone else’s comments and want to say thanks!!!!
You would think ESPN or CNNsi would have something as simple and straight-forward…but no! I had to google it to find your’s
Thanks again!!!
If possible, could you please update the bracket standings more often? I know the actual game count before it’s up on your page anyway but it’d be nice to see an updated version by you by at least the following day after each game. I bookmarked you on my google tab just to keep this a click away. Thanks…
@Rick: Thanks for the visiting and for the comments. I have always had the bracket updating byt he following day, but I have been unable to update right after the finish of games lately as I have been away from the home office.
Monday at the latest should see a return to the swift updating.
The bracket has been wonderfully useful, the best I’ve ever used. Without it I doubt if I would have tracked all the teams and watched so many of the games. Thanks very much.
Great site… timely, well designed, contains all the essential information for following this welter of teams through the morass of the 2009 playoffs. Keep up the good work!
GO CELTS
Wow, instantaneous update for Bos/Orl. I have continually been impressed with this and wanted to thank you again for it. This has been my best resource this playoff season.
I think this is a great site! I’ve been referring to it every day. Could you possibly show the games and scores for the Finals like you have for the rest of the brackets? Otherwise – perfect.
Is the Boston v. Orlando game on Thursday on ESPN or TNT? The icon is TNT but it says ESPN when you mouse-over.
BTW, I love this bracket! Best one on the internet! Great job!
@Greg: Thanks, it is ESPN. Sorry about the mistake, it’s fixed now.
Hi Brad,
First of all, love the brackets. Great job!
I would like to make something similar for my church b-ball league’s website, but I’m not too savvy with Javascript or any program like that. Could you offer any helpful tips? Thanks!
Bryan
@Bryan: My first brackets for 2004 and 2005 were made in Photoshop by just dragging the logos (all on separate layers) over the bracket to their respective spots as they progressed. You can try that to start out with. Otherwise, feel free to view source on my bracket and learn from that. Please don’t copy my bracket image or any of the code directly, but otherwise have at it!
GREAT JOB!
i can’t believe that the magic beat the celtics! Good Luck Cavs
Love the brackets
Awesome bracket you have done an amazing job!
For this round though, I am having an issue printing it out. The Denver Nuggets logo is out of place when you go to print the bracket. It looks fine on the website, but the logo appears just above “Team logo images are property…” instead of where it should be. I don’t know if that’s something on my end or something that you can fix.
Again great job on your work!
@Jim: That’s completely my fault, I did not fix the print styles after Denver won. Thank you for letting me know, I am fixing it right now.
